Composers and arrangers are becoming a required need by a variety of sources for work as creators of music for short films or student films, tv, commercials, radio, video games, presentations, and other forms of multimedia. If you are a music composer, you need to gain exposure on the internet and this is the best place to do that. This site was created by composers looking for a way to get their word out on their services more effectively. With video and all types of media becoming cheaper to create and more widespread on the internet, the role of the composer will be greatly rising in demand in the future, but this only means something if people can find you.

Along with providing a place for composers of film music and other types to list their information, this site is also going to have job postings from individuals and companies in need of musical compositions, creating the perfect place for composers of all kinds to search for opportunities to write or arrange music. These composer jobs will be from people all over the world, that can now be connected through the web. Although someone may not be near you, files can be transferred online and music composers can collaborate with filmmakers from across the planet.

This is an exiting time for composers of music for film and all other varieties of modern media. Never before has the connection between the music composer and people in need of their music been so immediate and available. The only hard part is for the composers to find those who request music, and for those who want the music to find the composers.

Composers wanting to be listed on this site should fill out the submissions form with as much detail about their composing style and experience as possible. This will help make the search function on the site more effective, and will allow people to find the composers they need. It will also benefit the individual composer to have more information on their page to get a better search engine placement and have more people come across their name. This means more publicity and possibly more composer jobs for you as a musician.

Being a music composer is not an easy thing to do in life. Your income is not guaranteed and your work is directly heard by many people (or maybe not so many at first). You have to create high quality music or you wont succeed. This is no position for those who don't like to be judged or operate under pressure. Music composers are constantly putting their name on the line with their compositions, and not everyone can handle that, but if composing music is what you love to do, then this site will help you get there.
