Philosophy as a Composer: I seek to write music that draws on broad influences from classical music to jazz and electronica. I write music that uses controlled randomness in its process to invent new, unexpected, and exciting digitally composed sounds to challenge the listener. I do not seek to replace acoustic instruments with electronics, but to unite them both, exploiting their strengths.
Additional Information: I create digital instruments that are adaptable so they can play with other electronic or acoustic instruments. The music made by my digital process is free to break the bonds of tonality, harmony if it needs to, but is versatile enough to play with traditional instruments.
