Composing Background, Education, or Experience istian Sensini is a composer for feature films; he specializes in thrillers, dramas, fantasy, docs, comedies, animation and cartoons. His music can be found worldwide in the best Music Libraries specializing in feature and TV production (including Rai and Mediaset, the biggest TV Networks in Italy ). Kristian has studied the piano since the age of six with Maestro Paolo Mikolajczyk and Maestro Enrico Reggioli; at twelve, he started making his first experiments in electronic music and computer music, which led him to form several ensembles of modern music, infusing such references as Stockhausen, Cage and Zappa. After getting the ‘Liceo Classico’ (school-leaving certificate), he attended the DAMS (Department of Music and Performing Arts) in Bologna , directing his studies towards musical education/music for images and anthropology. In 2001, Kristian won a scholarship from Boston ‘s prestigious Berklee College of Music to the most praiseworthy musicians at the clinics held in Perugia (Umbria Jazz 2001). He received his Jazz degree with full marks at Pesaro ‘s Conservatory, studying composition and arrangements with M° Bruno Tommaso. At the same conservatory, he studied Classical Flute and Music Pedagogy. In addition to studying medieval music and music for films, he has studied with music composers Carl Stalling and Scott Bradley. Kristian’s music is widely heard in major Italian Festivals and venues; he’s now collaborating as a Musical Consultant with several Italian and foreign Theater companies.
