Styles of Music Composed: Rock, Orchestral, Drum and Bass, Experimental/Alternative.

Composing Background or Education: I am only 16 years of age, but have a passion for music composition and have been learning since the age of 13. I am studying music for my A levels and have a love for film music and other kinds of background music. I play the piano well, and have a good understanding of most rock instruments, as well as knowledge of several orchestral instruments. I received mostly As and A*s in my GCSEs, including an A in music (despite our teacher).

Musical Equipment and Instruments: I do all my composing in a program called Logic Pro 9, mostly using MIDI. It is a professional standard program, and I saved for a long time to afford it. I am somewhat of a perfectionist, so I appreciate the flawless quality music files the program produces. I am able to make MIDI instruments sound subtle and realistic, using a variety of techniques, but I have also had experience in mixing and editing real recorded instruments.

Philosophy as a Composer: I love music, I want to write more and I want to get heard more. I relish the thought of composing music for any reason.

Additional Information: I appreciate I have no experience of the music industry, but I would consider myself a reasonably good composer and I would work for very little money.
