Styles of Music Composed: Electronic (trip-hop/drum & bass/techno/breakbeat etc), ambient, dance, orchestral, experimental, pop/hip-hop
Composing Background or Education: I started classical piano lessons at age 7 and began making electronic music in the early ’90s, while in middle school. I went on to pick up guitar and various other instruments shortly after that, soon making music a serious pursuit. By college, where I majored in digital art, I was making soundtracks for friends’ videos and animation projects as well as developing my own sound and abilities.
I moved to New York City shortly after college and spent two years working under Grammy-winning producer/songwriter Toby Gad. Since then I’ve continued to pursue sountrack, scoring and production work as well as my own personal music.
Musical Equipment and Instruments: G5 running Logic, Reason and various other software, acoustic & electric guitar, bass guitar, piano, synthesizers
Philosophy as a Composer: I enjoy music for music’s sake, which has led me to pursue and absorb influences from all across the spectrum of styles and sounds. I continually try to use what I learn from other musicians around the world to develop the most animated, immersive, and satisfying sounds I can.
