Styles of Music Composed: Listing makes you choose one of the options (film, video game, song, etc…) but the style of music that I compose is certainly not limitted to video game music.

Composing Background or Education: Been writing songs since I was 14. This love for music creation has led me to become a music major at Bucknell University, seeking the road to composition. I’ve played the guitar and the piano for 9 years, performed in various venues, and am now looking for opportunities to take ideas and turn them into everlasting songs.

Musical Equipment and Instruments: Acoustic guitar, acoustic piano, plethora of midi sounds, voice, mics…

Philosophy as a Composer: Composing is just another form of listening. Feel the vibe of the person you’re writing for (even if that means yourself), and let it guide you to a place where music becomes simply an expression of a heart beat. The heart beat of a video game, or a movie, or a lyrical artist. If you can make a listener feel that heartbeat too, you got it right.

Additional Information: I don’t really believe that I write this music. Not when someone comes to me and tells me the story of a video game, or plot to a play, or the special traits of a character I’m writing a theme for. In that case, *you* write the music – with your idea. I simply put it into audio form.
